The Toto Properties Difference

Builder-Led From Start To Finish

A successful home renovation or extension takes more than one person. Builder Peter works with trusted designers, engineers, certifiers and trades, so your project runs smoothly from the first site visit through to handover.

Practical Advice Before You Commit

Before you spend money on drawings, engineering or approvals, Peter helps you understand what’s possible, what may affect your budget and whether there’s a simpler way to achieve the outcome you want.

Structural Experience Where It Matters

If your project involves removing walls, opening up living areas, adding rooms or working with an older home, the structural side matters. Peter understands how to approach these changes safely and properly, so your home remains supported, functional and built to last.

Clear Scope From The Start

Before construction begins, you’ll know what’s included, what’s not included and what to expect along the way. Clear communication from the start helps reduce misunderstandings and gives you more confidence throughout the project.

Problems Solved Properly

Older homes can hide surprises like rotten timber, heavily corroded steel, old plumbing, previous DIY work or structural issues. When they appear, Toto Properties has the experience to solve them properly and keep your project moving forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need final plans and drawings before contacting you?

No. In fact, speaking with Builder Peter early can often save you time, money and unnecessary design costs.

He'll help you understand what's practical, what's possible, whether council or building approval may be required, what may affect your budget, and whether there's a simpler way to achieve the outcome you're after before you invest in drawings, engineering or approvals.

How much will my renovation or extension cost?

Every home and every project is different. Factors like your home's existing structure, site levels, soil conditions and the scope of work can all affect the final cost.

After visiting your home and understanding what you're trying to achieve, we'll provide a detailed fixed-price proposal outlining exactly what's included, what's not included and where your money is being spent.

Do you handle the council and building approvals?

Yes. Where your project requires council or building approval, engineering or certification, Builder Peter works with trusted designers, engineers and certifiers to manage the entire approval process from start to finish.

Will I deal directly with Builder Peter?

Yes. From your first site visit through to handover, you'll deal directly with Builder Peter. He remains personally involved throughout your project while coordinating the trusted trades and professionals needed to deliver it properly.

Can you safely remove heavy internal load-bearing walls?

Yes. Structural wall removals are one of Peter's core areas of expertise. Every project is carefully assessed and, where required, supported by the appropriate engineering to ensure your home remains safe, structurally sound and built to last.

What happens if unexpected problems are found?

Older homes can hide surprises like rotten timber, old plumbing, previous DIY work or structural issues.

If we uncover something unexpected, we'll explain exactly what we've found, discuss your options and, where additional work is genuinely required, provide a clear, fair price before proceeding.

You'll never be left wondering where an unexpected invoice came from.

Do you use fixed-price contracts?

Yes. We use transparent, fixed-price Master Builders Queensland contracts.

Once the construction scope is agreed, you'll know exactly what's included, what's not included and what your project will cost. The only time the contract price changes is if you choose to change the agreed scope of work.

What happens after handover if something needs fixing?

Our relationship doesn't end when the project is finished. If something genuinely needs attention after handover, simply let us know and we'll work with you to put it right.

What areas do you service?

Toto Properties is based in Buderim and primarily services the Central Sunshine Coast, including Buderim, Tanawha, Mons, Forest Glen, Sippy Downs, Mountain Creek, Mooloolaba, Minyama, Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland, Kawana, Warana and surrounding suburbs.

We also regularly take on major renovation and extension projects in Noosa, Coolum and surrounding Sunshine Coast suburbs.

If you're unsure whether we service your area, simply get in touch and we'll be happy to let you know.
